ONE HOUR SAFETY STOPPAGE: ALL SITES MOBILISED

To mark World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we brought together employees and contractors across all our operations and offices for a coordinated One Hour Safety Stoppage, reinforcing a simple message: safety is everyone's responsibility.

Across the Group, operational activities paused to make room for discussions on the Group's Critical Risks and Golden Rules, employee testimonies and collective reflection on safe behaviours. Employees also signed HSE commitment walls, reaffirming their shared commitment to maintaining safe workplaces.

The programme included dedicated sessions on mental health and wellbeing, recognising that safety extends beyond physical risk and is essential to employee wellbeing.

The day also coincided with national recognition for Houndé Mine, whose clinic received Burkina Faso's Best Occupational Health Service award in recognition of its commitment to occupational health standards.

Through initiatives such as the One Hour Safety Stoppage, we continue to strengthen a prevention-first culture, helping ensure that everyone returns home safely, every day.
