Endeavour awarded for Best Mining Company in Senegal.
During the 8th edition of the International Mining Exhibition (SIM) in Dakar in November 2025, we were proud to receive the Best Mining Company award for the second time. The award recognised the economic, social, and environmental contributions of our Sabodala-Massawa mine and Senegal’s leading gold operation. In particular, Endeavour was commended for our commitment to hiring locally with 95% nationals in our workforce, local procurement and the tangible socio-economic initiatives in our host communities. Aziz Sy, our VP Public Affairs for Senegal was proud to receive the award alongside colleagues during the conference's gala dinner event.
The SIM conference takes place every two years in Dakar and is hosted by the Senegalese Ministry of Energy, Petroleum and Mines. During the 2025 conference, we also actively participated in key discussions, participating in panels on responsible mining and the development of local mining value chains; reaffirming our commitment to fiscal transparency and local content as a driver of sustainable development.
This recognition underscores Endeavour Mining’s commitment to mining responsibly and creating value for all stakeholders both in Senegal and across West Africa.
