On 6 December 2024, a graduation ceremony was held as part of the Ngoto Yɛ TƐHƐ programme, which means Building the Future in the local Djimini language. Launched in Lafigué, this initiative supports the post-construction transition of the mine by providing young people from neighbouring communities with training and professional empowerment opportunities.

Over a period of three months, 63 young people, including 19 women, received vocational training in eight technical trades: men's hairdressing, women's hairdressing, pastry-making, electronics/solar energy, vulcanisation, poultry farming, borehole maintenance, and office administration. Sponsored by Paul Day, General Manager of the Lafigué mine, this programme is a key pillar of Endeavour’s sustainable development strategy in the field of education.

The official ceremony presided over by the Prefect of the Dabakala Department, Mr Sié Coulibaly, saw the graduates receive their certificates and discover their starter kits tailored to their respective trades. These tools, distributed progressively, will enable them to launch their businesses immediately, contributing to job creation and the socio-economic development of their region.

With funding exceeding 150 million FCFA, the Ngoto Yɛ TƐHƐ programme reflects Endeavour’s commitment to supporting its host communities beyond the construction phase by offering concrete and lasting opportunities to build their future.
