In December 2025, Endeavour Mining, in partnership with the Federation of Chambers of Mines (EFEDCOM), brought together strategic partners of the Local Content Accelerator (LCA) in Abidjan to review progress since its launch in April 2025 and set priorities for 2026.
The LCA is designed to strengthen the competitiveness of West African suppliers, improve access to finance, and support greater alignment of industry practices across the mining sector. Since its launch, the programme has achieved significant results, including supplier mapping in Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Burkina Faso, a shared evaluation framework, and targeted technical support for 45 pilot suppliers.
Looking ahead, a first regional roadmap is expected to be finalised in early 2026, setting the course for continued collaboration and growth. The initiative underscores Endeavour's commitment to loal procurement, strengthening supplier capabilities and driving sustainable socio-economic development in host countries.
