Endeavour’s commitment to responsible mining took center stage at the 2025 MET Gala, as global music icon Lauryn Hill wore custom-made jewellery crafted from gold sourced directly from our Ity mine in Côte d’Ivoire.

The pieces were designed by British-Ghanaian artist and goldsmith Emefa Cole, using Single Mine Origin (SMO) Gold — a fully traceable gold extracted exclusively from the Ity site. SMO Gold ensures that each gram can be traced back to a specific mine committed to high environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.

This collaboration offered a unique platform to showcase not only the creative excellence of the African diaspora, but also the importance of traceability and transparency in gold mining.

Each piece worn at the event was accompanied by a QR code, enabling guests and admirers to trace the gold’s origin and explore the community initiatives, environmental efforts, and ethical standards upheld by our Ity team.

This moment of global visibility marks a proud milestone for Endeavour Mining and celebrates the work of our teams, who uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, and innovation every day.
